discouraging biting?

my baby girl has 4 teeth and is of course exploring everything with her mouth. she’s now started biting myself and my partner here and there and i’m just not sure how to react. sometimes if i say “ouch!” she giggles and i don’t want to encourage her. but if i do nothing i feel like she will think it’s okay. also having some trouble with this with breastfeeding as well. any advice is welcome!

Omg same here!! Want to hear the answers!

just redirect, maybe give her something that she can bite. I give my girl teething straws which she LOVES

I’m in the same boat, then I thought in general I actually don’t know how to teach a baby right from wrong. If I say no she just shakes her head laughing because she knows the action for no🤣

My girl's first tooth popped up recently and she too is exploring. What's helped so far is sternly telling her no and giving her something that is okay to bite on. She's getting the hang of it and even stops herself mid bite sometimes now
