I’m a first time mam so nit sure if it’s normal but I am currently 3 weeks pp with a c section and I have the same as you midwife says my incision is perfect and healing really well but I occasionally get days here and there that even after all my painkillers I’m still hunched over in pain xxx

I was like this with my first and it’s completely normal. I remember feeling so frustrated a few weeks in when I was still sore but it gets better and pain will soon be a distant memory. Stay on top of your pain killers if you still need them, get movement when you can. Be conscious of how you get up/ move around. Good luck 🫶 This time has been a lot easier which I’m grateful for as I have a toddler. Also 12 days pp, so our babies have the same birth day! 🥰

I'm 15 days pp (unplanned c section) and definitely feel tender and still very uncomfortable. Painkillers every 4 hours most days; sometimes every 6 hours on a good day. It's really frustrating when you're used to doing so much independently. Even turning over in bed is still a bit of an event 😬 Stay as mobile as possible. And just know that each day you're healing a little bit more 🙌 It's a slow process and I completely feel your worry!

My c section was a week ago tomorrow & I could have wrote this myself!! I'm still taking daily painkillers and I'm still finding it painful, I've been reassured this is completely normal and that it's just how your own body deals with it & not to compare it to anybody else's experience. I've definitely noticed it's worse of a morning when I have been in one position for a long time, but once I am on my feet it does ease and I try to get up frequently to do things, also a very small thing but I have been forcing myself to get up and shower everyday and put cleans pj's on and it's amazing how much better it makes me feel. Hang in there, it's rougher than I thought it would be but I hope you start to feel better soon 🤍

Thank you mummies 🩵 I have been mobile around the house, as i know the walks and movements are important for healing. But at times incant even walk from pain. I also have a bit redness in the middle of my scar but im just doing everything to avoid going to the triage 🥴

If it's red and painful I would 100% recommend getting it checked out, I'm sure it's nothing but definitely not worth the risk of it getting infected and you pushing recovery time back x
