How are we all introducing art to our babies?

I just received my 14 and 12 month health visitor questionnaires (he’s only 13 months), and one of the questions was about babies scribbling. Do our babies do that? I didn’t know that was something we should be thinking about at this age. We’ve been focused on other skills and development and learning how to play. Any tips would be great? Any specific pens/ whatever that I should buy? Art and scribbling that isn’t likely to mess up my house would be even better 😂
