Moved from breast milk to formula

Hi everyone, I had to move exclusively to formula - my little one was on breast milk exclusively before. We have been on Bobbie gentle for a week and she does not seem to be taking as much formula as she did breast milk. Does any one have experience with this? Wondering if she is just getting used to it? Or the formula Bobbie, or something else. I thought she would be taking more formula. For reference she was having around 23/24 oz a day and now at 18-20 oz of formula, seems to not like feeding as much and she is 6 weeks today- any advice appreciated!

My little one is 6 weeks and she is exclusively formula fed. She also drinks Bobbie gentle and she drinks around that 18-20oz range. She basically drinks 3oz per feed. Sometimes it’s 4oz, sometimes 2oz.

That’s good to know she is also in that range!

babies generally get fuller faster on formula than they do breast milk so they take in a higher volume when it’s breast milk

The formula is more nutritionally dense compared to breastmilk so the babies do not take in as much. 💙

I believe Formula also takes longer to digest
