Extremely hyper toddler

My 19 month old is extremely hyper to the point where we go to activities and he just runs off or goes up to all the kids and parents and just stares at them, sometimes he will try hit them or he hands them things. He then grabs toys/ teachers equipment and throws it all over the place. He cant sit still and watch the educator at all. He goes to these classes where there is a circuit they have to work their way through and he just picks up the cones etc and will throw them all over the place. Its so exhausting and peoplr have mentiomed that he isnt well behaved. I dont know what im doing wrong. I dont want to hit him and it hurts me if i do time out as he cries. I just say "gentle hands" and show him how to be gentle etc but then he will be gentle then grab my hair or something and pull really hard while laughing. I feel at a loss. Has anyone else experienced this? Other kids his age all seem to be alot calmer and don't run away or cause as much chaos. I always end up talking to educators at the activities we do because they come up to me to mention how "social and energetic" he is. I feel they are trying to word it nicely. Am I doing something wrong? Has anyone else experienced such an intense toddler?

Is he talking yet? Id maybe look into research programs, he could be on the autism spectrum, just on the high end, possibly ( Disclosure, I'm ADHD and autistic myself.... I don't know the minimum age to possibly diagnose ADHD )

So ADHD might be something potentially also as an and or

@Elizabeth I have considered this but everything I see online says kids with autism are anti social and he says hi to everyone wherever we go. He can say quite a few words but also still babbles. I will look into getting him diagnosed thank you 🙏🙏

ADHD can be diagnosed as young as 3, as an fyi Just info to throw out there

My son is very calm and quiet child and just found his volume when he hit the 18 month vocabulary boom development. I do have 18 years of child care experience from babysitting up to live-in nanny. What your descbing does sound like a lot of work but also average for a 19 month old. All kids are unique individuals and maybe your son would be better suited for more of a 5 to 7 years old "rough and tumble" kindly interactions. Sometimes a regiment daily routine can be overwhelming to a young child to where their focus is on their imagination and energy rather than the guided tools / play 🧡
