Tantrums

We’ve been dealing with terrible twos times 10 it feels like lately. She will scream at the top of her lungs if she doesn’t get her way and I don’t like to give into it. But I don’t want people to think she’s being hurt and she will get my youngest crying when she does it. Any advice is welcome 😅

My daughter has been the same way lately. It actually just started. I send her to her room when she acts like that. Then will go in and talk to her after a couple mins (seconds) depends. Explain what’s okay and not okay and repeat. The only thing I can say is the less reaction the better the outcome… with my kid anyway. It passes quickly it’s frequent but quick. Usually worse when she’s tired. Praying it passes fast for the both of us!

I completely understand your point of view. But taking her out of the situation actually works for my child. Instead of keeping her in the same environment that got her upset in the first place that’s why we do this. Not to regulate myself it’s to reset her! 😋

It didn’t offend me! As I said I completely understand where you could see how it wouldn’t be helpful! It’s hard to know!

Every child is so different and reacts and responds to things so differently. It’s never one shoe fits all with these kiddos!

My daughter is freaking out at the littlest things. Full meltdowns. I want to rip my hair out. I’m hoping this stage passes

My son has also been doing this. One thing I have tried for him yelling is whispering to him. I’ll continue to whisper until he’s whispering with me.

Hey don’t know if she already has them or not. But could she be teething? My son went through this last month and I was like holy cow this is way worse than normal what is his probably. After a week or so of it I checked and he had 3 out of his 4 molars coming in. So they all decided to come in at once so he was just in pain I think. It lasted about 2-3 weeks for us and then he went back to normal toddler tantrums instead of like the crazy version.
