Anxious

I know this may sound dumb but I’ve always been anxious about spiritual stuff. I was raised in the Bible Belt and raised in a Christian home but over the years I’ve been living life and gotten away from the life I was raised in. Recently after having my daughter I don’t want to leave her or her be without me if I died. I’ve wanted to get back in that life for her and me but I just feel so heavy and feel something is standing in my way of fully committing to that and I don’t know what to do or say. Especially with everything going on I feel I want to get straightened out cause I can’t do this too much longer. I just feel the weight of the world is on my shoulders and I don’t know what to do. I don’t know what to do or who to talk to about it.

in a short answer; my personal opinion is faith is what you believe, whether you believe every single thing the bible says or only some parts resonate with you, you’re still in your faith. it’s about being true to yourself. maybe you have different beliefs that aren’t in the bible but those beliefs are just something that pull you because they resonate. this is a topic i could talk about allll day😂 you’re welcome to pm me if you’d like to vent it out & have a sounding board🫶🏼

If you’re heart is telling you to go back to Christianity for not just you but your daughter then I personally believe that god has called you to do so . He put that in your heart . The devil attacks you the closer you try to get to god . He will try to keep you from god and put those feelings of doubt in your mind . As a Christian myself I still battle with it and feel like I’m not doing enough because everyday life gets in the way . Just start small . A small talk with Jesus as you do the dishes . Pray over your child and home and eventually you’ll feel your heart crying out for Jesus and you’ll start leaning on him. The devil will try to stop you but through Christ we are always going to be okay ♥️🙏🏼

You can always message me and we can learn together as it’s still a learning process for me too 🫶🏻
