Femur Length
Has anyone had or have a baby measuring small for FL? We are currently with Fetal Medicine at Brighton hospital and wondering if anyone has any similar stories or advice? (Currently 36 weeks)

I had a C-section booked for 38 weeks, but her being breech, my gestational diabetes and previous c section were also factors, not just the leg measurements. My waters broke the week before so went straight to C-section after my waters breaking at 37+3
I had to go for an extra scan at 20 weeks as my boys femur length was measuring small (below the 5th centile) when we had the scan the specialist said that his femurs are measuring small but not so small that it’s a cause for any concern, it’ll just be the way he is & there’s nothing to worry about! He was born 6 weeks early unexpectedly and nothing has ever been mentioned since! X

My second baby measured small for FL. We were referred to fetal medicine at guys from Worthing. She's now 3 years old. A little short, but not particularly noticeable. No real health problems. I was SO worried, but in our case it seems she's just below centiles for height. Good luck. I know it's harder said than done, but try not to worry too much.
