Are you considered at risk?

I'm at risk for this, and take aspirin. I have an obstetrician that sees me regularly, and it's in my school risk assessment. There's not much more I can do, other than attend my midwife appointments as they would be most likely to pick it up. Reduce stress is often advised, but it's easier said than done in a school!

I agree with Lisa. I’m high risk for this too. I have aspirin and 2 types if BP meds and weekly monitoring appointments. The earliest it generally kicks in I believe is 20 (or 22?) weeks. I’m 34+5 - a SEND teacher and still working - and yet to have it develop. If it does ramp up, the only ‘cure’ is having the baby! It can mean bed rest before hand but hasnt happened for me so far. 🤞🏼
