We’ve finally got a date for our 2nd transfer. The 1st transfer was fresh, which resulted in a miscarriage at 8 weeks. Did anyone try to do anything differently 2nd time round?

Not sure how long you have before your transfer, or whether this is accessible to you, but I had acupuncture which I’m convinced played a part in my successful transfer! Also lots of walking, yoga, meditation just all the things to keep me calm. My first round ended with 2 miscarriages and 1 failed FET, so second time around I was on a mission to try and protect my mental health as much as possible and all of the things I’ve mentioned helped me. I’m now due to have our miracle baby in 2 weeks xxx

I used zita west proceive vaginal probiotics for my frozen transfer. I didn’t for mu fresh which failed. Not sure if they made a a difference but they might have. Took them at the start of the transfer prep process. I now have a 3 week old as a result of my frozen transfer.

That reminds me I also had a vaginal microbiome test from Invivo… it found that I had high yeast so took some tablets for that, and also a couple of other supplements recommended by them based on my results. Quite expensive but for me it was worth it x

I’m sorry you experienced a miscarriage. After my FET which ended in an early loss my clinic suggested for my next transfer to do a progesterone blood test on the day of transfer. Also leading up to it I had my pessaries increase from 2 per day to 4. My bloods came back as low so I was then also put on lubion x

I did (very expensive) immune tests after 6 transfers & 3 miscarriages and found out I needed steroids & intralipids… then the next transfer resulted in my son. How I wish I tested this earlier to save the heartbreaks 😔

I have done an imune test as well very expensive , also the ERA that checks exactly time you should do the transfer .
