Bleeding

Anyone’s bleeding get lighter and then heavier again? Only 5 days pp but by day 2-3 my bleeding was significantly lighter, super light pink in color and last night and now today day 5pp bleeding has picked up again in amount and red in color again. Passing very small clots, nothing golf ball size and not soaking thru a pad every hour. My lower belly and back is also sore again. I was more active than I should have been the last 2 days cleaning house and taking care of my toddler + babies doctors appt yesterday so lots of lifting and moving around. Just wondering if anyone’s experienced the same, I can’t remember with my first!

Yes my bleeding goes up and down

I have the exact same. The cramping last night 5days pp had me so worried. Feel a little better today, but yes more bleeding red again as well

Yes! I’m 2 weeks postpartum and my bleeding is now light but as soon as I do anything really other than sitting on the couch, my bleeding gets heavier and more red

My bleeding has gone up and down over the last four weeks. I would have days with almost nothing then small clots (like with my period) the next day or two.

@Shelby you did exactly what I did. Too much too soon. I had a chat with my husband and we revised our responsibilities so I could spend more time recovering and the bleeding went back down again. Now it's super light. (11 days pp).

Yes! I actually just left my 2w OB appointment, and she said that is completely normal and expected, especially with more active movements, etc.. Just make sure to make a call if it increases to going through a pad in less than an hour :)

Yes!! I'm c section tho so not sure if that changes things.
