When my little one started a month ago he stopped drinking bottles of milk at nursery. They offer him One but he only has a couple of oz. They do feed him meals and snacks often though so he doesn’t really want it. He’s having much less at home too now.
My little girl is offered 3 meals a day, whether she eats them or throws them on the floor is another matter 🫣 we’re not at the point of offering her snacks yet and she has regularly only been drinking 14-20oz of milk a day for the past month, she’s also still only having sips of water and not really drinking it. We’re under a consultant for allergies and weight issues and have discussed all of this with him and he’s not concerned with these amounts at all! He said as long as she has plenty of wet/dirty nappies, is happy, active and thriving then she’s fine and is having what she wants/needs. The only thing we were advised was to add vitamin drops if she regularly drinks less than 500ml/16oz a day xx
My son the last two days has started almost blowing raspberry on the bottle which is strange because we’ve never had an issue with boob, combi, bottle or food. Then when I pull it away but ignore his playing up he whines for it back 🤷🏽‍♀️
I went to my 10 month review recently and the heath visitor advised me to slowly wean him off milk and start introducing snacks and be consistent with 3 meals so I wouldn’t worry too much as long as he is having solids , pooing and weeing as normal
@Hollie my little girl blows raspberries on everything every time she’s teething x
@Jade good to know! He’s got the bottom two and they just appeared, no issues. The top two have been bothering him so may be this! X
21oz is the minimum for formula. Being an oz or 2 below isn’t the end of the world as long as you try and offer but he is filling up on food too x

My little one is not finishing any of his bottles recently... He is also 9 months old. He's having 3 meals a day, and I offer 3 bottles either 7oz and 8oz - but he's not finishing any of them...
