Yeah, we call him baby sausage 😂 or just sausage hahaha! And the family call him dimps🥲 I’m going to stop calling him nicknames and use his full name from now on xxx

Is it all the time, often or just not as much? I used to be the same until I had another hearing test later on and have hearing loss. Could be worth asking your HV for some advice x
No not all the time, just more often than not. I might mention it to the HV and see what she recommends x
Did he used to? My daughter went through a phase of not responding to her name around a year but it came back! The HV said she was exerting her independence 😂 If he does sometimes but not all the time, then it’s probably nothing to worry about, especially if he responds to other sounds x
Yeah, I’m hoping it is a phase😂 he’ll happily respond to his dad first time so maybe he’s choosing not to listen to me😂x
Do you use different nicknames? My LO is 18 months now and she will sometimes respond to her name but not always, but then my partner and I always give her little nicknames so I just reckon she gets a bit confused by it sometimes
