Ever since giving birth, does the subject of birth make you emotional?

Idk if it's just me, but ever since I gave birth 3 months ago, the topic makes me so emotional now. Like tearful. Even if i watch a movie where someone is giving birth or watch a tiktok of someone in labor, it makes me so emotional. Am i just really sensitive or does anyone else experience this😅

I hate how it’s always portrayed in so many movies and shows. It’s kind of triggering

No but I get it.. I started watching house of the dragon shortly after having my first and pretty much immediately there's a traumatic birth scene. I think I found it way more disturbing than I would have before giving birth

Yes, i think for me it was the trauma of giving birth and having a negative experience with my first. I got so emotional for almost a year until i could finally view birth as a beautiful thing again and try for a second baby. I’ve now got my second baby who is 3 months and had a better experience this time and I don’t get emotional anymore about the topic.

Me talking about my birth experience yes but watching birth or hearing other stories is no.

@Mena I understand that. I had a good experience with my first so i'm not sure my emotions are sad or negative necessarily, i think the whole experience overall just overwhelms me and makes me emotional if that makes sense. i definitely think it's a beautiful thing as well
