Smiles
My baby doesn’t smile with me when I drop her off and pick her up at daycare. She just stares at me with a blank face. Today was one of those days. The lady had her for a minute and we were talking and she just stares at me. Then I took her and she looked at the lady and start giving her big smiles. I’m talking gum and all. Is this one of those moments when she thinks we’re one ? Like I just feel like she doesn’t like when I come for her. At home though it’s all smiles. It actually makes me sad that she’s never happy to see me. I’m her sole care giver since she was 4 days old so she should be use to me by now.

@Anya so actually she smiled at me for the first time yesterday. She was so happy to see me she started kicking her feet and laughing. It melt my heart

i’ve noticed my baby sometimes gets overstimulated when we’re around other people. like when we visit my in laws she is a different baby she will have a blank face at me and sometimes smile and one of her cousins but it’s so odd to me she’s so quiet and at home she is smiling all day long. maybe that’s it? but she lovesssss you girl i can 100000% promise you that. maybe the daycare worker is goofy looking (im kidding 😭) don’t worry. she knows you’re her mom and im sure she’s happy to see you but she’s just figuring emotions out! :-)
