@Maariyah me too! I’ve bought everything but when it comes to feeding, temperature and things like that I feel like I know nothing and worried I’ll do everything wrong 🙈 I’m sure your heath visitor is right! Hopefully it will all come naturally to us 🤞🏻
Impatient! Hit the 37 weeks mark yesterday and the last symptoms are kicking in! Nausea was really bad today as well as stomach cramps...apart from that, I cannot wait to have my baby in my arms! Hospital bag is pretty much done, I just need to put some comfy clothes in there for myself but that's gonna be more last minute I think. Snacks are all packed though 🤣 In terms of looking after the baby, I'm not too worried and I've never even held a baby before! No idea on how to change nappies but no one was born a parent so I'm sure we'll just have to do our best and God bless YouTube tutorial videos lol
@Arianna ah bless you! I’ve started getting the nausea again too, not fun at all! I’ll be doing my snack shop tonight girl, the important part 🤣 So good you’re not worried! Probably for the best. Most people I mention this to says you just wing it anyway! I’m definitely an overthinker though 🙈 Good luck mama and I hope your nausea eases up for you asap!! X
I still find it crazy they let you leave the hospital with a whole living being to look after 😅 this is my second so I'm feeling a lot more relaxed about things once the birth and hospital stay is out the way with. But honestly you will never know all there is to know about looking after a baby or being a parent. It's ongoing learning on the job for all of us. And that is ok.
I constantly feel like this. I’m certain I’ve got everything ready but I still have this feeling that something has been forgotten 😭 My health visitor said all the baby needs for the first few weeks is you some clothes, blanket and that will do so not to stress yourself too much🥰
