I give my baby whatever I'd eat, he's had toast with cream cheese, avocado, strawberries mashed like jam, crumpets, omelette strips, cucumber, pancakes. He also has weetabix, porridge, yoghurt, mash and veg/meat, pasta with sauce, I've made tuna and broccoli fish cakes and cod fish fingers
@Lauren I think I’m getting myself so paranoid about it all. I just keep thinking what about the salt content 😂
The pancakes and omelette etc I make So I do banana and avocado pancakes, I've done banana and cinnamon pancakes, the omelette I've done with chicken and veg (peppers and mushroom), the fishcakes was tuna broccoli potato and a bit of garlic 🙂
Fishcake just broccoli, tuna and potato?
Yeah and a bit of garlic and then coated in breadcrumbs
You can also offer meat and fish which, if eg beef, is great as it’s iron rich. Fingers of well cooked steaks, any kind of homemade meat ball, chicken leg, smoked mackerel, ribs. All things that babies love as they are easy to hold and provide different textures and flavours
My LO has enjoyed melon, watermelon and cucumber as finger food! Those are all quite good for baby to hold and suck on
