Newborn always smiling ?
Is it weird that my newborn is smiling a lot and he’s only a week old?? Should I be worried
It’s kinda scary cos I never had this with my first till he was about a month ish old 😂😩

If it gas what do I do? He must be really windy 😭
I don’t think you need to worry, gas is normal for all of us and some babies just have more expressive faces than others even if it doesn’t necesssrily mean it’s a real smile per se. My baby is also very smiley after a feed but he doesn’t seem to be uncomfortable! Just keep up winding

If he is smiling whilst asleep it's a sign of wind. Newborns cannot control their facial expressions so any face they pull it not done on purpose
