Yes most babies get this from lying down. My little one is 9 months now and it’s has grown back x

My girl was born with it. The patch is only just now having some hair on it

I shaved it all off. For us it’s cultural to shave. But also avoids the shedding and bald spot. And what does grow back is even. His hair grew back 4in by the time he was 1 I had to tie it up out of his face it grew so quick

Baby’s loose their hair at 3 months usually. It’s called their “newborn hair” and then their actual hair (colour texture etc) comes in

Mine did, but more disappeared too, like the whole top of her head and only leaving a little hair at the bottom near her neck. So I shaved it off, her hair was black when she was born (a whole thick head of it that fell off) and now it's a warm chocolate brown and thick
