Getting pregnant after Ectopic

I found out I was pregnant late October last year on the 7th of November I had keyhole surgery to remove my left tube as it was an ectopic pregnancy I have found since then it’s been really hard trying to get pregnant again did or does anyone else have this issue if so how can you resolve it. I have a 1 year old already and really want him and his siblings to have a close age gap🩵

It took me almost a year after surgery to get pregnant so just keep trying and it will happen. I also took conception supplements from pregnacare, my partner took the one for men and the game changer for me was to do ovulation tests and monitor my fertility days

Im sorry to hear about your ectopic. I was exactly the same with a left salpingectomy except it was my first pregnancy as well. We’re coming up to a year now and decided to go for ivf as it just won’t happen.. to be honest the nhs told me that the tube on the other side can pick up eggs from both sides but my ivf doctor says really you’d need to ovulate on the side you still have a tube. I have the shit luck of having a dominant left ovary and always ovulating on the same side.. sorry I don’t mean to sound negative but I prefer they told me the truth a year ago so I wouldn’t have wasted so much time.. hope you have better luck 🩵

I had my tube removed in August, I researched all the supplements and started taking coq10, myo-inositol, vit B, omega 3. I tracked ovulation with LH tests and temperature. I got pregnant in December and am now 9 weeks pregnant with non identical twins. November isn’t very long ago at all, that’s only a couple of cycles, I’m sure your time will come 🙂

I had my tube removed in April! Still no luck, have luckily found a lovely GP who is starting investigations for me a bit earlier than the 1 year point, I’ve just had a scan which shows 1 Polycystic ovary on my left the one which has the tube still and one normal on my right which has no tube 🙃 so just waiting for next steps! I was always told the tube will pick up the egg wherever it comes from but I feel something is off! And currently having a few months off of TTC as we are getting married in November but will start trying again may time, I’m sure we will all get our rainbow soon :) x
