Night bottle

I should add that I freaked out when I read it was supposed to have stopped at 1 year! Just don't want to mess up the routine since we still have sleep issues...

Do you mean in the night or before bed? I still give my little one a bottle before bed. I really don't see the harm

Yeah before bed, it's not so much giving the milk before bed that's the issue but the use of a bottle with teat that I found out shouldn't happen at the stage.

I bought some transition bottles on amazon - they look quite similar to a teat so could be equally problematic but my little girl had absolutely no issues swapping to those. She only has a 'bottle' in the mornings now, so I will probably look at offering it in a straw cup soon.

We switched to a straw bottle! Little man still loves milk and I'm happy with him having before bed just in a cup instead

We moved on to a straw cup at 12m, but my little one still has milk before bed. My nephew is 6 and still had a cup of milk before bed!

You should definitely stop bottles and maybe change to straw cups. And slowly wean. You don’t want your kid to think it’s associated with sleep and then he’ll always expect it.
