Crying out of sight?

9 month old shouting and crying the moment I leave her to go out of room or out of sight. How is everyone dealing with this?

I feel like I'm quite lucky my boy is crawling here because he just follows me around now but I saw that separation anxiety is a huge thing from like 8-10 months ish because they realise properly that they are a separate being and they also understand object permanence a lot more. It suggested to try and make sure you give them a lot of actual attention (physical touch, eye contact etc) to help them regulate and feel connected with you so they are confident that even if you leave you will come back. I also just basically have a random list of baby safe objects in each room that I can give him to play with so I can take him room to room with me if needed

Oh it's exhausting isn't it. I tell her 'I just need a wee or Mummy will actually wet herself'😂 I've been told to play lots of peek-a-boo games & to hide for a few seconds then reappear. Distraction with toys sometimes works x

Honestly I just ignore it. He has to deal with it unfortunately that’s literally life! He’s got worse since being at the childminders cos he has constant attention there and when he’s here I have to do other things and can’t be with him all the time x
