Anterior placenta

I had a scan on Monday and the doctor said I have an anterior placenta. Which means the placenta is on the front wall of my uterus. I’m really stressed about this because I’m afraid my one year old will bounce on my belly and cause an abruption. Anyone have experience with this?

My best friend had this with her first. She was still very hands on with my son who was 2-3 years old at the time and he was all over her. She didn’t have any issues with it. The only thing she wasn’t able to feel baby’s kicks much unless she was laying down. For me this pregnancy my placenta attached to scar tissue, so I have a chance of it separating once I’m further along. I just tell my son to be easy and gentle it’s hard but he’s getting it ( he’s 4 now ) we have always played hard and “wrestle” so it’s been a learning process with him. If you do get really worried ask you obgyn and they can tell you things to do and what’s safe and not.

I had that with my last pregnancy. I don't think it is much to be concerned about. It can also migrate as the pregnancy progresses

I had one with my last pregnancy and my daughter turned 2 four months before my second daughter was born and still climbed all over my during my whole pregnancy! My OB used a little handheld ultrasound at my appointment on Tuesday and the placenta was just on the left side next to my baby and he said that it can still move at this point since both placenta and baby have so much growing to do :) so there is a chance that yours will stay anterior, but It can also move still
