There’s a hashtags on Tik tok #leavingmaga which is magats who have already figured out they f’ed up. It’s pretty satisfying
@Sharaya about a dictator taking over my country? Yeah! You should be too.
@Sharaya it’s not bitter, it’s enraged.
@Trish ah don't drink the Kool aid. The media has everyone freaking out over nothing.
I think some of them will never admit it was a bad decision, too delulu
@Sharaya I don’t think it’s freaking out over nothing when ICE is doing raids in schools. I don’t think it’s freaking out over nothing when tariffs that will increase costs of a lot of things we use/buy are being implemented…
I don't think it's freaking out over nothing when an unelected foreign national is being given access to the sensitive information of a nation's infrastructure and citizens
How about- neither of your 4 replies.
@Sharaya why do you always blame the media? Have you ever watched a full length press conference or a speech with him, or the people who work for him and are speaking on his behalf? That's not the media telling people what to think. Those are his own words saying his own plans, morals, values, and what he says through all that mumbling is that American people are not his priority. He is there for his own best interest and that of his buddies who have you all in the palm of their hands, yet you're all onboard with your own impending oppression.
@Alina I can make a poll with whatever options I want. I'm still free to do so for now.
No shit 😂 and I was letting you know it's neither of your 4 replies.
❄️
@Alina You'd prefer I have the option of the master's favorite dog?

Do you want discussion with independent voters or are you specifically assuming all non Kamala voters are the Trump worshippers?
@Alina Go for it. I'm independent too.
I see a lot of negativity all over peanut no wonder why I can't make any real connections... Females aren't worried about making actual mom friends accept for me .... It's so sad 😭
@ella I've made actual mom friends here! In this group and locally 😊 There's negativity on all forums of social media, I don't know why you'd think peanut would be different
@ella my children will grow up in this country. I will fight for them to live in a world that is safe, free and equal for them AND others ! I'm not being negative, I'm just not being complacent. There's a difference.
@ella but may I suggest that if you don't like the contents of this thread, you use the bookmark tab to remove yourself from notifications. 🫶🏼
@Sharaya it’s not the media. I’m only paying attention to what Elon and Trump are literally doing. As in, people who work in the agencies he is destroying tell me what is happening, what insane shit he said or did that day (and ask for help) I actually have no idea how..any media is reporting this! I’m only getting it from the source
Okay so to be quick in my thoughts an a independent. I support reducing government in general. Smaller gov. Minimal taxation. Capitalism, no minimum wage (I live in a state without it and the wages are dependent on the market of what people accept Low wage employers are chronically understaffed) I chose Trump because I felt he supported the country as a string nation great in his first presidency in general and today's approach is great EXCEPT for the removing gender X marker from federal documentation because if there is a gender / sex marker at all we should have a neutral marker. It is fair. Trans people and non binary people exist. He support same sex marriage but it seems many Republicans do not and I have seen reports of a couple states trying to reverse gay marriage which is not okay at all. I also believe that medical care for trans youth should be rare, carefully prescribed and last resort... regardless it should be LEGAL. So I am not happy about that at all. It's unnecessary and upsetting.
I have more to say lol
When it comes to the immigration + border policy subject: Kamala adopted the same policy in the last month of her campaign. The corrupt illegal raids that ICE are conducting are not okay at all. Also Obama was just as strict about legal immigration.
@Alina it sounds like you don’t agree with most of the stuff he’s doing then?
@Victoria~ basically I disagree with the 2 gender thing even tho I believe there is only 2 tangibly, because it's completely unnecessary for a government to have that take when there is a population who believes otherwise. It doesn't affect the government really. And since Kamala had the same immigration stance then it's irrelevant really. I support the deportation, you know just not the illegal raids and school raids. I support auditing all the government organizations. All money sent overseas. I support ending federal funding for abortions and separating from the WHO.
Also support MAHA regulating safety and ethics for medical research, removing toxins from our country and related.
Our country should be our priority first. America made. I do agree with removing some unnecessary books from the public school system that in detail described sexual acts and such.
And removing the gay and trans flag from schools. Teaching sexuality and the small chance of being gender diverse can happen in the 8hr sex Ed.

@Alina would you agree that the federal government should be involved in ensuring human rights are upheld throughout all the states? Or do you think that is something for states to decide?
@Victoria~ which are you referring to? If you're referring to abortion I believe it is always unethical unless it is specific endangerment to the mother or an ectopic pregnancy.
@Alina gay marriage specifically since you mentioned that before
Oh yes, absolutely. We should make gay marriage federally protected. My gay friend shared a news article that a gov rep in Indiana presented a bill to reverse gay marriage... :/
@Alina does the possibility of benefits from a smaller government outweigh the risks to lgbtq+ people under trumps administration?
@Victoria~ smaller gov where we still protect their right to marriage and 2A sounds good to me.
@Alina if making a government smaller creates more hardship for more people, is it still better to have a smaller government in an unjust society? I agree that the government being involved in everything is not great but unfortunately there’s quite a bit of discrimination in the US towards minorities and women. Shouldnt someone/something ensure they have rights that are federally protected? I also feel that the government banning books and flags from schools is government overreach.
@Victoria~ smaller gov excluding the federal right to marriage same sex and hetero sexual can exist together. And if you mean the police intervening on hate crimes, police are employed by local municipalities. Can you explain more on why sexuality and gender should be taught outside of Sex Ed? Public school is for general ED. And gender diversity is related to attraction... rare and real so the only appropriate place to teach it publicly is sex ed imo.
@Alina no I mean discrimination in the workplace and at school. The government should protect people from that. Where in schools is sexuality being taught outside of sex ed?
@Victoria~ I would say it's unofficially being taught by left wing teachers who share about it on TikTok.
@Victoria~ sex and sexuality are confined to sex ed in all current public school curriculums. They mention Henry the 8th had wives and heirs, and the Nazis rounded up LGBT people as well as Jews, but history and science, and studying humans in ANY context inherently involve some acknowledgement.
@Alina fortunately, someone who’s job is teaching sharing things in their free time on TikTok-which NO child or teen should ever be on-is definitely not “teaching it in school.”
@Trish Yeah I hear you and agree theres no proof but I'm talking about people specifically talking about what they shared to their class of kids. Or coming out to them or teaching sexuality or gender ideology.
Look, I agree with you about trans issues, but if we are going to advocate for trans issues then we need to advocate for all genders issues and Trump lacks the ability to protect women's rights. So just because he claims to support same sex marriage, it doesn't mean that he isn't creating/allowing policy that hurts every gender other than the straight male gender identity. I guess I don't know what a string nation is other than in reference to guitars. One of many things impacted by a smaller government is the education system (so I'm using it as an example). It sounds great that it'll be left up to the states until you get into the nitty gritty of things. Doing away with the DOE ensured that schools in places that need more assistance and have less available resources, will see very little help from their state as opposed to schools that really don't need extra funding. ie, This usually impacts minorities more, meaning they will continue to not have equal access to better education.
No one wants higher taxes. But the tariffs that Trump is implementing will makes the cost of things go UP, including taxes. Did you know that implementing tariffs is typically a Democratic move? Which is why I've been extremely confused as to why Republicans have been so gung-ho about this. So, we are going to have higher costs all around, while nothing will have been done to stop drugs from entering our country, which is why he claims he did this in the first place.

MAHA is such a good trick, I'll give them that. But if they wanted to make America healthy again, they'd be working on environmental protections, improving our healthcare systems, and yes, listening to Doctors all the time, not just when they're bleeding out and realizing they do need doctors and don't actually know more than someone who has dedicated their lives to health care. I'm all about natural remedies and I do try to treat things on my own as much as possible but I'm not about to raw milk away my illnesses 😂
Eh, the book removal thing is, in my opinion nonsensical. Porn can be accessed easier than a book now. I was exposed to porn by an abuser as a child well before I ever read about people performing sexual acts in a book. I can tell you that I would have preferred to be exposed to sexual acts in books rather than on the TV screen. They're less violent. But hey, let's keep those young boys and men addicted to porn to perpetuate unrealistic expectations on women (and possibly violence if they don't comply/live up to those expectations) because that's better than being addicted to reading, right?
But in response to your ❄️ comment, if I had a dollar for every time a Trumpette said that to a Democrat, I'd have as much money as Trump's billionaire friends. Then I could buy my way to the top, infiltrate the government, start a coup because myself or my friends would own socials, and then I'd have you all eating out of the palm of my hand too. ❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️❄️
@Alina I don’t think any teacher talking specifically about their own sexuality is appropriate. However, gay and trans people exist so theyre gonna be mentioned, it’s bizarre to just pretend they don’t exist.
Yeah tbh the replies are normal to me but the original messages annoyed me so I did the snowflake lol
Are you bitter? Cuz it seems like you're bitter.
