Upset baby!

Does anyone else's baby scream bloody murder during diaper changes and changing clothes. My little one all of a sudden hates laying on her back for a diaper change and flips over and won't stop screaming. It makes it so hard to change. My husband and I both have to hold her to get it done and it's just so stressful and exhausting. How are others dealing with this?

Yes!!! I don’t understand! She hates laying on her back now. Everytime I have to change her diaper or change her clothes it’s like wrestling a crying alligator 😭😭😭 sometimes it helps if I give her a toy to distract her, sometimes nothing helps

She could be teething !! My baby did the same thing ! Also as they get more active they just don’t like to lay still … welcome to the fight unfortunately it just gets harder as they get more and more mobile 😅

I always try to give my daughter a toy to play with while I'm changing her so she doesn't try to crawl away and she doesn't try to touch herself.

Yes my baby does this all the time for me😩 I literally have to fight him to lay there. Distractions only work sometimes unfortunately

It’s the gator roll for me! 🐊 He’s been loving to play peekaboo so I give him a burp cloth and he starts playing peekaboo while I change his diaper/clothes. So far so good. I’m sure that’ll probably change next week 🤣

Yes! This just started with my daughter too. Sometimes a toy works for most of the change but it usually ends in a fight. I have started talking to her and telling her that no matter what she is getting a diaper change and she just stares at me lol. I’m hoping it passes because I’m pregnant and she’s been kicking me hard in the stomach and I’m going to start crying too lol

I've mastered changing her diaper while she's on all fours, it's easier for me than trying to wrestle her lol

They hate it but I got stuff to do I put my leg over them (not full weight obviously) and keep them on their back til they’re done lol

@Tkay we got these for the first time and I don’t wanna go back I hate the straps😭

Yes! Ive been doing potty training and just letting him be diaperless. Picking my battles and I’m not fighting him anymore, it’s exhausting! Although he still cries sometimes when I sit him on the potty but he likes to read books and that’ll calm him down. He’s too cute

The only way I get mine to deal is by singing really loudly 😂

@Ciera I just laughed so hard omg wrestling a crying alligator 🤣🤣 but that’s also so so accurate lol. My 11 month old always has me breaking a sweat
