I invite my friends like that all the time. In all these years I’ve never had someone crack it at me the way she did to you, that’s ridiculous. We’re basically saying “I’m going to be here, if you aren’t busy and can make it, totally join me”.

I prefer “if you want to come” over come if you want . But tbh with my friends it’s a given like no invite needed. Thinking to take the kids to the park, the normal response between us would be cool, what time see you there. Every one’s different tho
