White gums

Has anyone's 4 month old baby got white gums , the lady who has my baby says he's teething and the white on his gums is a sign.... my other children have never had white gums even when they were teething i have done research on the nhs and it says it thrush

White gums is generally a sign of teething. The white being where the tooth will push through eventually. Thrush is normally roof of mouth that’s white and sore. I would check roof of mouth to rule out thrush x

Is the whole gum white/is it patchy? Usually when teething it will be a small ‘line’ where the tooth is going to emerge as it pushes through

@Kelsey my baby is teething his teeth are trying to push through can I put something on his gums to realive the pain it upsets me seeing him in pain you just want to take the pain away bless him
