Baby girl name

We know we want to name her Daja Renae but don’t know how to spell her first name . Should we spell it “Daja” or “Deja”?

Depends how you want it pronounced. I read both of those as written, the a and e being different

i mean how would you pronounce it? coming from someone who speaks french the pronounciation of deja is completely different than daja

Deja or Deja’s

One of these is dahjah the other is dayjah

Dee-ja and Day-ja is how I pronounce the two

Deja looks prettier as a girls name 💖

What does Deja mean?

Also suggesting “daisa” I know Deja’s pronounced ee and ay

I had a friend when I was little and she spelled it Deja (I moved away and lost touch! Maybe I should try to find her online!) congrats!

As a Dejonae I say Deja

I clicked Daja but after @Dejonae commented I change my mind! 🤣 Deja, love your name @Dejonae x

I can't help but read Deja vu so voted Daja

Daijah Renee

Is the first sound supposed to be dah or day? The first one is pronounced “dah-ja” the second one is “day-ja” so it depends on what name you’re trying to have going on.

Daja = Daw-Zha Deja = Day-Zha I personally prefer Deja for spelling and pronunciation

It’s supposed to be pronounced like Deja by but the dad wants to spell her name with A

@Jasmine, I still don't understand how it's meant to be pronounced.

@Jasmine if you’re gonna do an A I vote for AI Otherwise Deja

@Hannah Deja vu is the way it’s supposed to be pronounced. I didn’t catch the typo. My mistake

@Jasmine, oh lol, that makes more sense. I'd go with Deja for that pronunciation 😊

Could maybe do Daija for same pronunciation as Deja if you prefer an a in the middle. Without the i, I'd pronounce Daja like previous posters as Dah-Jah.
