Our daughter spent 85 days in NICU last year so my main advice is to establish as normal/natural a routine as you can to feel like you have some control in all the chaos. Also don’t feel guilty for taking a few days where you don’t visit - it’s okay to need some time to focus on you. We had about 4 days over our daughter’s stay, where we tried to collect ourselves so we could go back in feeling a bit better. Also see if you can meet with the psychologist on the ward if you need someone to talk to. If you have a Tiny Lives or other charity connected with the hospital, take advantage of this as it will help you to feel less alone. Keeping you in my thoughts and wishing you well - you can do this, mama!
This was hard for me as well, thankfully we weren’t there long. My son was born at 36 weeks and was in the NICU for 16 grueling days. It’s very hard, but you will make it and your baby will come home. Just try to keep yourself together.
It is a hard journey, we had a 24wker who is 3yrs next month! We had good days and bad days, she's in good hands , Make sure you have you time as it's soo easy to get swallowed up in hospital life! Xx

((hugs)) it's so hard to see them this way. I had my second premie in July and spent 3 weeks in the NICU. It took a while and some counselling to work through my emotions. I can't offer much advice as everyone deals with this experience differently. Know you're in my thoughts. đź’śđź’ś
