He so cute! We use the baby orajel. It comes with a two pack and one tube is for night and one for day. I’m not sure if the night vs day actually makes a difference. Also, I recommend Motrin instead of Tylenol for pain. (Tylenol better for fevers and Motrin better for pain). Good luck, we also always have a horrible night when a tooth first breaks the gum.
Non-medicinal I used frozen teethers (you can also get the mesh fruit feeders and freeze breast milk if your bf), frozen fruits - mine love/d blueberries, harder fruits and vegetables cut appropriately - apple, teething biscuits. Cold face washers to chew on. These things all helped my two boys, they cut through a lot quicker as well! Medicinal you could try teething gels and ibuprofen/paracetamol. I didn’t find teething gels worked all that well for my littles though. If you’re using pain relief I would try to give it 30-45mins before their main meal and bed time.
What a cutie though!!
I’ve used frozen celery and baby Orajel those were life savers
Camilla teething drops
I did frozen yogurt popsicles like got a fruit feeder one that’s more for breastmilk then did yogurt and fruit froze them and my son couldn’t get enough!
I know you asked for non-medication ideas but I had good results for pain management with alternating between Tylenol and ibuprofen for my son. Tylenol in the morning and at lunch and then ibuprofen at night. And every couple days we don’t do meds at all to see if he’s handing it better and to see how the swelling looks without interventions. I also let my son chew on his toothbrush after I brush his teeth. It massages his gums and he seems to enjoy that sensation. Other ideas: popsicles (I make them w fruit juice and Greek yogurt) Celery/ carrots/ apples- chilled in the fridge Ice water in a sippy cup Chilled wash rags/ teethers
We use clove oil from Mattys. Also, that outfit is so precious
Anbesol liquid always works instantly for us
