Losing speech?
So my LO is 13 months and has been saying mama and dada since 7 months, he’s learnt new words since then but for some reason some words don’t stick. Like last week he was saying hiya a lot and now he isn’t and last month he was saying ta but doesn’t now. Does this mean anything or could it just be because he’s learning other words aswell? Thank you

It can be normal for a baby to take a pause on something they already know while they learn something new.
Same here. Was also wondering…. Almost all words he learns, he says few times throughout a week and then stops completely. So now he knows about 10 words but doesn’t say them…only new words.

Same with my little girl, she was saying lots of words then she stopped and now she is learning one every day almost, she stopped for a couple of months to say what she used to but now it’s back to normal and even more, I think it can be normal 😘
