@Jem what about if someone has seen someone that they know is poorly and then want to see you?? (But they are fine)
Oh I would personally be fine with that. But I can understand why you might be worried It’s so hard when it feels like every other person has a cough or cold at the moment!
I’m the same as you and I still avoid anyone that is ill. I just hate being unwell or baby as I’m a solo mum so don’t have a support system. She’s all I got so I can’t afford to be sick all he time. It’s the people with a cough that scare me though due to RSV
Yeah I think I’m going to have to just avoid people that are poorly themselves, instead of the people that have maybe seen people that are poorly.. I think otherwise maybe I would afford everyone haha
I wouldn't purposely be around people who are poorly, not unless it couldn't be helped, which sometimes is the case!
@Rebecca what about people that have seen someone else that’s poorly?
I would expect if someone has been to see someone who’s poorly, not to directly come and see baby. Change of clothes and a wash at the least xx
Only if they went home in between to have a good wash and change their clothes first. I hate chest infections they’re awful.
@Emma I mean like a day after x
Ah I get you. I’d try and avoid it because they might be contagious but not having any symptoms yet. I don’t know how quickly you’re contagious with a chest infection. What’s the situation? If you’re worried can you just cancel?xx
I’m definitely more relaxed over 6 months but no, we’re still avoiding people we know are definitely unwell Even with that, both he and I have caught colds and tbh sometimes he licks the floors now. I’m all for building immunity but also avoiding illness where obvious as when we have been sick, it’s been a nightmare!
