Breakfast ideas

Hi all, My 11 month old has turned into a fussy eater and wants to be entertained whilst eating otherwise he won’t eat. A whole sing and a dance type of entertainment! I’m struggling for breakfast ideas. He doesn’t want crumpets, toast, porridge, even adult porridge that is tastier! What type of foods are you giving your baby? We’ve tried all the Instagram recipes where there’s pancakes etc but nothing seems to work. Have no idea what I’m doing so wrong for him to just not be a big eater. He also won’t touch anything sachet related from the supermarkets for kids. 🥺🤦🏻‍♀️ Thanks!

For breakfast i do a mixture and he loves it. Boiled eggs, small bits of toast, feta cheese, jam, olives, tomatos and milk

Eggs - we have them every morning, every day - they are soo nutrient rich and it’s easy for you too. Scrambled, poached or boiled are good.

Maybe try offering at different time? Omelette with cheddar seems to work like a charm for us. She will not touch eggs otherwise.

On days when my lo isn't hungry, I offer fruit and yoghurt and that usually goes down well. He does go through phases of not wanting breakfast but often makes up for it at other meals.

Eggs, toast, weetabix, cereal?
