I think it’s fairly normal to look at anywhere from 6 months to a year, I’ve never heard of a baby under a month being christened tbh. I’m pregnant with my second and thinking of doing them both together when this baby is around 8 months old. I don’t think it makes a difference for schools - you don’t need to apply until they’re 3 and I think you’ll just need to demonstrate they have been baptised and that you are practising catholics (although I think it really depends on the school, I know some friends of mine who aren’t Catholic but whose child got into a Catholic Primary just because demand in the area had gone down) x

There is no time limit of when you cam get your child christened. I am getting my boy baptised next month and all they asked for me is names of the godparents and where was I baptised as you have to be Catholic in order for your child to get baptised into the Catholic faith, not sure about different faiths

Depends on the school as I know someone that didn’t get in and their child was baptised after a year. Our priest also said we wernt considered legally married as didn’t do it in church and that may be an issue for the girls secondary school.

I've never heard of this My brother children were 1 and 1mnth short of 3rd birthday (joint baptism) I'm planning on getting my baby done in summer - summer just because it'll be nicer for a party so they'll be 1 or nearly 1.
