Daughter is completely different to what my son was

I know they say not all kids are the same but I can't help but tear up a little when my daughter does something much sooner than what my son did... For example she's starting to grab things you hold Infront of her (she's 4 months old) my son wasn't doing this till at least 6 months. I know they say boys are lazy 😂 but honestly she just surprises me everyday. Like even when I'm doing tummy time with her she's parachuting and even trying to use her knees, have a funny feeling she's gonna be crawling sooner than what my son did to, he was nearly 1 years old when he started crawling, I'm just amazed and I wish she would slow down just a little 🥹 because she's my last baby, all her firsts are my lasts

I’ve had the exact same experience. My little girl has been such a handful compared to my older boy, both mentally and physically 😮‍💨 my boy took his first, very bribed steps 3 days after his first birthday, my girl at 10.75months 🤯 she’s now fully wandering about and even trying to ‘run’ and she’s 12.5m 🫣 totally get how you feel 😭 (also, I live in chorley Lancashire now but me and my partner are from Sunderland! 😂)

@Megan Oh gosh am I in for hell with her lol? 😂 I just can't get over how clever she is already 🙈

All kids are different but second children often do things faster as they're trying to imitate the older one. It's totally normal!

Girls tend to achieve milestones a lot quicker than boys

My son was go go go on meeting milestones but he always did it because he wanted to get to me. My daughter is less interested in basically anything except sitting and now wanting to stand, but she is also a lot more curious and independent. Its so different.

I think it definitely has to do with second child too. My son is my second and he has started on all of his milestones a month or two before my daughter did. It is crazy how having an older sibling they watch and want to just get going!! It goes by fast!! 💨

Same! 9m my son was not rolling left or right. 8m my daughter is pulling to stand. Wtf?
