Scan anxiety

I dont know what's wrong with me but I'm 20 weeks tomorrow, got my nhs scan on Tuesday and I am just panicking. I don't think I've felt any movements yet, sickness & nausea all gone, tummy is growing as it should and had a private scan at 16 weeks where all was absolutley fine. How can I stop these anxieties from getting to me, been having terrible nightmares the last few days over it 😢

Call your midwife and tell them your concerns, if you have any symptoms worth mentioning then you should tell them asap, it may not be anything but it’s always best to voice your concerns and they can advise you better … I’m sorry your feeling this way 🥰❤️

I didn’t feel any movements until 28 weeks as I had anterior placenta. But any concerns ring or message your midwife xxx

It’s so natural to feel like this and it doesn’t necessarily mean anything is wrong💕 In my first pregnancy it wasn’t until 22 weeks at least that I felt any kicks so this is totally normal too x

I was only feeling the odd flutter at 20 weeks! Didn't feel anything regularly until around 22 weeks. Anterior placenta too. If your tummy is growing that's a good sign and its totally normal for the sickness to be gone now!

I could have literally wrote this myself! Although I’ve been super fortunate with movements even with an AP. The likelihood of anything being wrong after 16weeks is so slim. You’ve got this, not long to go! Xxx

Exactly the same position! Private scan at 16 and heard his heartbeat at 18 but AP and only a few flutters. I think it’s just very natural to feel nervous before a scan x
