Who is sending their baby to nursery?

I am sending my baby to nursery in June so he will be a couple of weeks before he is one. I literally can’t stop thinking about it. I really don’t want him to go! So basically here to cry 🤣😭 how is everyone feeling? I feel like I’m not sure on the nursery, but I think it’s because im not sure on any because I don’t want him to go haha

My little girl is starting next month 😭😭😭 she’s only doing 2 half says 7:30-1 but I’m terrified and can’t stand the thought of someone else raising my baby but I know it’ll be so good for her to interact with other babas 😂

Mines starting 2 days a week in March then 3 days a week from April. I'm dreading it, I'm so sad but it's life. Everyone I know says that it's so good for their development though. I think it will take a lot of getting used to

Yes my little boy starts on the 1st of July, just before he's 13 months old. It was an emotional rollercoaster when my first started but I have no choice I have to work and it is amazing for them. You'll just really start to appreciate that family time you get a bit more around working, it's a definite shift in family dynamic xx

My little one is starting in May. If it makes you feel any better I also have a 3 year old who started nursery around 11 months and he is absolutely thriving. He has little friends there who will end up being at the same school as him, they do yoga, sports, Spanish, crafts etc. and they have a chef cooking them balanced meals every day. The first few weeks will be emotional but it gets easier ☺️

Thank you everyone I’m just worried I haven’t choose the right nursery, but where I am I don’t have a lot of choice because of location and hours they are open for my work. He will be doing 9 hour days 3 days a week I’m so sad 😭

I worried about not choosing the right one but there's no way of knowing j till they're there anyway. My cousin works in a nursery and I asked her how can you tell at this age if he hates it and ahse said you'll know, plus staff will let you know, especially if he's struggling every day, its better for everyone that they're happy and thriving they won't just ignore it x

Honestly you'll look back in a few months time and wonder what you were sad about, he will be absolutely fine. My now 3 year old runs in forgetting to say goodbye sometimes and always "just wants to finish what he's doing" when I go to pick him up, he's never in a rush to come home🥲🤣. All good signs though! He's been there since he was 13 months too x

My baby girl will be starting for 2 afternoons a week in April when she's just over 10 months old, then 4 days a week in June when she's just over 1!
