I think every baby is so different, and learns things at different paces. I know it’s easier said than done, but try not to compare. My LB is 9 months, and although he babbles a lot, he doesn’t crawl yet. In 20 years time, you won’t be looking back and Thinking “gosh she didn’t babble at 8.5 months”. It’ll come mama ❤️
My eldest was flagged at his 12 month check for a few different things, he's now 3.5 years and way ahead of his peers! Try not to compare and read too much into things. Enjoy your baby mama but also trust your instincts too and reach out for support if you think you need. They can go from not saying/doing anything and then before you know it sometimes it all comes at once. Wishing you all the best ❤️
They all do things at different times, my first did all of these things she's not doing at that age, and he's been diagnosed with autism so it doesn't mean anything 😊
I get the concerns but it would be maybe worthy to stop and think why so much fear around having autism? Would you love your baby any less?
Also, my boy had ASD/ADHD and granted, it's been a bumpy ride and bloody hard work but he's the sweetest, most wonderful boy despite all our issues. There are worse things than autism that your child could have ❤️ don't stress.
I think these all sound normal to me. Saying words is pretty soon and usually one word is by 12 months. The flapping hands with excitement is a normal baby thing. And it sounds like your baby has been focusing on crawling and climbing getting ready for walking. I would continue reading and talking loads and singing to your baby to gear them up for talking! The fact she makes noises is a good sign!
