She could be ignoring you, lol my daughter mastered ignoring at two weeks old
When you say her name, are you down on her level and getting her attention by touching her first? If you are just calling her name across the room, she probably just isn't paying attention.

My son turns when strangers say peakaboo to their kids and when me or his dad say Monkey but I think his extended family has been so obnoxious with his name that it's less obvious what it is when they say it. And yeah like yours about 50-60% of the time he responds to his name
My baby also seems to only respond to his name sometimes. I assumed that it was normal that he doesn’t want to listen to me all the time 😅
Does she do it to everyone? My son has selective hearing when it comes to me and dad but I’m sure it’s because he’s constantly getting into stuff and we’re always calling him or telling him no. He’s super responsive to literally everyone else tho 😂. If you’re really concerned just mention it to your pediatrician.
