@Bethaney thanks your reply made me chuckle. My daughter certainly hates being pinned down and stopped from doing what she wants to do.
Totally normal! It’s the worst when he’s done a poo nappy and he’s absolutely screaming and fighting for dear life to not be lying down for a nappy change 🫠
I have to throw an assortment of objects at my sons hands while I’m changing him just to keep him distracted long enough to at least get his bottom half sorted!

It’s absolutely normal at this age and part of their development. They’re getting to an age where they want to be independent and don’t understand why we’re now pinning them down (and in their opinion taking too long) when they want to be up and off. It’s nothing related to autism it’s just toddlers being toddlers ☺️
