My mom doesn't appreciate what I do......
I am a SAHM and my fiance and I are staying with my mom until we can get out on our own. Lately it seems like ANYTHING I do isn't good enough for her. She thinks all I do is sit at home on my phone and take care of my son. I am constantly cleaning and I am so done feeling underappreciated 😔😔😔

Just please take care of urself and ur son .. u can do some cleaning and some cooking but not all of it and not all the time as u need rest if ur a new mom
I’d show her exactly what sitting on my phone and watching my child is actually like. But that’s the arsehole move

Normally I would say who cares what your mom thinks but sometimes people who feel like they are doing you a favor think they can have an input on your life choices especially if they are your parent. I would say get out of that situation ASAP. It is not going to be beneficial for any of your relationships- your relationship with your mom and your relationship with your fiancé. It’s nice to have a mom you can go to for support but it sounds like she is not viewing you as an equal because she feels you are somewhat reliant on her. Time to plan your exit.
