Ovulation help

I’ve been tracking my cycle consistently since April 2024 and tracking bbt and oh tests since beginning of January. My body usually gives me physical symptoms around ovulation also. Since November I haven’t had a period or any signs of ovulation and there has been no peak on my bbt or lh tests. I haven’t a GP appointment in march but when I’ve been looking into things that may help it looks as though all the medication like clomid and letrozole they require you to have a BMI of 30 or under. I don’t currently have that. I just wondered if there is any thing that can be done in the meantime or if the outcome of the appointment is likely to be just me getting told to lose weight and come back? Also, any PCOS girls who have managed to lose weight any tips or advice you have is welcome! I’ve been trying for about 3 months but seem to just fluctuate up and down the same few lbs.

I’m going to be honest, mounjaro has been the best thing for me, I’ve lost 44lb since Sept last year. I actually fell pregnant in dec but lost them shortly after. At the ultrasound they said I had no cysts on my ovaries any more!

My cycles are so random, some months I ovulate on time, others I skip a month or even go 4months without ovulating. Just did not have many chances to get pregnant. Luckily got pregnant after 2yrs of trying. I'd speak about being referred to fertility specialist (my trust in NE england said you had to be trying for 2yrs to do that) I believe bmi for 30 is for IVF. I know people that have been given both letrozole and clomid that have higher BMIs. One was referred for fertility by GP, the other paid private- though was same NHS consultant would have seen if was referred. GPs don't give these meds so its important you get referred if possible, it can be a long process. - even when paying private. Fertility doctor also give metaformin to reduce pcos symptoms to try help too - some drs do prescribe this so worth asking GP if they think it'll benefit you. I'm planning on going to fertility specialist for baby no2 so it hopefully won't take as long to conceive.
