Copy and paste what Emily said! Also you can always search on instagram or tiktok “activities for 9 months old” and I am sure you will find lots of ideas of what to do :) x
At home we read books, sing songs, practicing his signing. We play his instruments together of my partner plays the guitar whilst my little boy plays along. Putting on little shows with his puppets/soft toys. Lots of free play time and building his blocks/cups. Outside- going to baby classes (signing, sensory, music), walks, meeting other mums for coffee. Go to the library, fitness classes where he does free play, taking him to museums/galleries. We take him to the park most days. When I take him out for coffee/a meal I try to rotate his toy/book so we can focus on one toy uninterrupted and find more ways to play with it.
@Emily I'd love more info on the sensory painting please x
I’d also like info on the sensory painting!
Not sure if you mean at home or out and about lovely! So I’ll give you a list of both xx At home - Sensory painting, reading books, playing with development toys, setting up tuffs trays or toys in a way provides role play. Sometimes I even involve him in bits I need to do! Out and about - Swimming, Library, walks, park for the swings, singing groups, baby groups, baby cafes, sometimes they do ones for parents babies too☺️ even just lunch or breakfast out can be stimulating for them! Going out in the trolley too for the food shop It is harder as it’s so cold but when it’s warmer, bits like picnics and other outdoor activities will be so much easier ☺️xx
