Coming off the mini pill

Hi. I had my daughter in august 2023 by emergency c section. when she was about 5 weeks old i went on to the mini pill where i take a tablet each day without a break, and my periods fully stopped. i’ve took them ever since and i stopped taking the pills roughly 3/4 months ago. i’ve still not had a period but light spotting when i wipe, not in my urine or enough to fill a pad. me & my partner are ready for baby number 2 but i’m just worried as i haven’t had a period yet and im not able to ovulate without one. Any advice please x

You ovulate before you’d get a period so you can still get pregnant ,

You can still get pregnant. I was on the mirena coil for over a year, took it off, period never came and I was pregnant within 4 weeks. Definitely start trying if you want another baby. Good luck xx

I came off the mini pill in September, and am now 20 weeks pregnant. Turns out I got pregnant within a matter of days of stopping taking it 🙈 you can definitely get pregnant without having a period x
