I don’t think it’s advised as it can pose a choking risk xxx

Never! This is not advised at all, it's very unsafe

Nooooo. Please don't. I know boomers like to talk about this because it was advised back in the day to "help babies sleep better" (it did, but it only made them feel satiated and didn't actually give them the nutrients they need), but it's a huge choking risk, especially when they're younger. If someone gives you a hard time over it just tell them we don't do that anymore.

Thank you guys I really appreciate that I didn't know it was a choking risk with that. Im glad I asked. My mom keeps insistinging on me giving her it( because that's what they did back in the days I guess). I didn't give her it because I was hesitant to I'm glad I was. @Melissa @Sophie @Sarah-Louise

Never

No worry’s lovely, glad we could help :) xxx

What everyone else said is true. With that being said I was given the ok to give my son rice cereal in a bowl with spoon around 4 months. He did really well with it because he was a hungry boy! I would ask your pediatrician though because some babies are not ready until 6-7 months. Depends on if they can sit-up well and have good motor skills etc.
