Birthday

For anyone else not throwing your baby a first birthday party what are you doing. I’m thinking about taking him to build a bear and since we will already be in the mall buy some things he wants. Then after taking him to somewhere he can run around and play and eat. Just will be throwing out the idea that if anybody wants to tag along to celebrate his birthday they can.

For my son he went downstairs to find our living room floor covered in balloons, presents (wrapping paper really), and he had the opportunity to play with cake. We will probably do similar for my daughter, plus going out for breakfast. I love the build a bear idea.

I did the build bear idea it was fun. But they can get overwhelmed in the store so don’t be super if they don’t make the bear themselves.

@Emilie I would never get upset I feel if a child doesn’t want to do something anymore they shouldn’t have to if he needs someone to remove him because he is overwhelmed that’s totally fine with me

If I had a lot of people to attend my child’s event, I really love throwing parties because I can decorate. I can set up the goodie bags, but it’s pointless because I don’t have a lot of people and when I did my son‘s first birthday and I invited enough people they never showed up and it was just me his dad my mom and my sister family

@Niecey I’ve found local mom on here or from facebook and connected with them for partys. The kids grow up together then.
