Bout to go bald

So I attended a baby shower about two weeks ago, for me to attend this shower, I had to stay the night at my mil house due to us not having a vehicle (it’s in the shop) but anyway my younger sister in law had to stay here with my husband and the kids due to my older sister in law not wanting kids at her big day 🙄 so apparently the younger girl had lice and now I have them from her being on our furniture. And this isn’t my time getting lice from this little girl and I’m beyond upset and annoyed bc this girl seems to always have it no matter what. And I know im not supposed to use lice treatment while pregnant but I don’t know what to do? Im at the point im bout to shave my head bc it’s very upsetting that I have gotten them at least 25 in the past 5 years from this girl.

Damn 25x from one person. Throw the whole kid away.

They sell this vacuum comb thing on amazon, check it out. Also, I know some people use mayo in their hair to smother them. I would just youtube or google other alternatives.

@Johari no seriously 😂😂😂😂😂

No sure if it’s better/less harmful than lice treatments but I heard using dog shampoo helps

Vaseline or peanut butter can suffocate lice (reference = the office tv series) You'd still need a comb for nits (eggs) 🙃

my mother would use mayo or Listerine mouthwash on my nieces. The mouth wash she would drench in a cotton ball and dab the scalp to help cool and relieve itching

Try mayonnaise!!!

Use Conditioner instead of lice treatment! I heard lots of people say they use that instead and it’s meant to be good xx

@Sarah that’s what we had as a kid, lice treatment was so expensive we’d just wack on conditioner and sit there and comb everything out. Took forever but always did the job fine 😂

I did mayonnaise and lice comb . But mother in law claims that the child is a carrier and that’s why it’s so hard to get rid of them on her and why she continues to get them. But there’s has to be some way of them treating her head to get rid of them completely. We have lived with the mother in law for other reasons I won’t speak on and I had gotten them that way but her coming to my house and giving them to me was just over the edge for me.

You have to keep checking your hair daily and everyone’s hair that’s in your household. Make sure you clean all your bedding, linens, clothes, etc. If you leave one egg/nit behind it’s going to keep coming back. It’s super exhausting but not impossible. Also, maybe she had super lice because those don’t even die with regular lice shampoo. But, the little girl needs to get rid of them because she’s just gonna keep spreading them around to everyone she comes in contact with.
