Formula Feeding Amounts, help!

Currently combi feeding my 7 week old and he’s drinking 180ml (6oz) of formula per feed which is more than the guidelines on the formula tin. He’s polishing that off and sometimes still wants breast milk after that. Would you increase the amount? I’m conscious of over feeding as he’s already having more than what’s ’recommended’

When little one was 3 weeks and going through a growth spurt she was having 32 ounces in 24 hours which lowered down eventually. If he's eating it we'll without any issues, or spit up etc he should be fine :) x

My feeding consultant said if they sink a bottle it’s time to increase and to try hungry baby formula if it felt like they’re always hungry. You can call your local mum and baby clinic and ask to speak to a feeding specialist. They’ll probably weigh him and give you some guidance. Peace of mind is all you need in this situation I’m sure he’s super happy and healthy xxx

My 7 week old also has 6oz, and he has 6 bottles within 24 hours. It's more than the guidelines, but all babies are different, and you know your baby, if he seems hungry afterwards and he's not crying like he's in pain but maybe abit fussy then up it and see how he goes. My daughter was only drinking around 4oz at this age
