Throwing food

My boy is constantly throwing his food on the floor. No matter what I offer him or if it’s his most favourite food, every meal time 90% of his food goes on the floor. I’ve tried cutting it up smaller/offering it bigger/putting it on his tray one piece at a time/putting it all on his tray/telling him food stays up and in his tummy but whatever I do I can’t seem to get him to eat. He eats so little as most goes on the floor. He used to love his food when he was weaning. I’ve gone back to spoon feeding but even then he just spits out the food and throws that instead. He was breastfed but I weaned him onto oatmilk a couple of months ago. He has a 6oz bottle after he wakes and after lunch and then an 8oz bottle at night after dinner before bed. Is he having too much milk and this is affecting his appetite?

My little boy only throws food when he's full up or not hungry. I would suggest cutting out the milk completely in the day and just give him a bottle before bed if he wants it xx

My LB went through a phase of exactly this. He barely ate, everything ended up on the floor no matter what I did. It lasted about a month and a half and he's back to eating 'normally'. He still chucks food but nowhere near as bad as he was! It was so disheartening to see food constantly on the floor

My LB also went through this phase. He loved to see how food was falling on the floor or when he was full. I gave him just one type of food, small amounts and rest by spoon. It took about 1 month and 2 weeks. And now he is back to feeding himself. It will eventually go away. X
