My little one is having them daily over often being told no

Same here but he likes to tell us no @Em

Absolutely same but over the most minor things usually, like if I try and pass him a crisp instead of giving him the packet 😂 I'm more worried that his head is always covered in bruises mainly from his tantrums! X

Same here. She throws a tantrum and will hold her breath and fold herself in half. Or strop off into a corner. Had one in Asda the other week over a water bottle

She reduces me to tears most evenings I’m over whelmed from dealing with her tantrums all day over everything earlier on she went to touch the oven door I said it’s hot don’t touch it obviously it wasn’t hot enough to burn her but still hot enough that I didn’t want her to touch it or think it was ok she touched it when I turned my back and cried for good 5 mins saying hot holding her hand then kept proceeding to try and touch it again while I was trying to cook x

We have a serial tantrumer over here too. They just can’t deal with the emotions so we find if we say no no no in a joking way that he accepts no and we also joke mid tantrum and say “are you trying baby yoga” and it usually gets him to stop and laugh or show off more toga downward dog etc. So I know it’s all attention based. What I find hardest is the lashing out at others because he is finding it hard and I’m trying to prevent him from hurting other kids. Parents understand that this is all part of it and all kids go through this but it’s still not a nice phase.

My little girl led on the floor screaming and crying 3 times at a stay and play yesterday 😆because the free biscuit jar was empty x
